Cet  œuvre d'art  capte l'essence et la beauté du lynx, un félin emblématique des forêts du Québec et d'autres régions nordiques.

Le lynx est représenté de profil, appuyé contre le tronc d'un arbre de bouleau. L'artiste a utilisé une technique de peinture hype -réaliste pour dépeindre la fourrure du lynx avec une précision incroyable. Chaque poil semble avoir été peint individuellement, donnant à la fourrure une texture si réaliste qu'on a l'impression de pouvoir la toucher. La couleur de la fourrure, un nuage de brun et de gris, est parfaitement harmonisée avec l'environnement forestier.

Les yeux du lynx sont l'élément central de cette composition. Ils sont verts et brillants, pleins d'intelligence et de vigilance.
